Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that will make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc, and is often given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide bonus effects or attribute bonuses when the equipment is used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot available. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items have special visual effects that appear when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought by Karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and received as rewards.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used with any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enhancements are utilized for certain ascended back items. Injecting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.
Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their names in the hover display of the item while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures and fractions, as well as ornaments as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters along with normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the item you have selected. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.
You can upgrade your Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once Full Post reaches level 15, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will offer the stated bonus and also boost all the other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled.
If you're having difficulty finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of different views. Each view shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further using an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves creating an account on a different account to increase your chances of getting the character or weapon you'd like. It can be done increase your level faster, or to obtain more loot, such as a new weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters they like regardless of their abilities. This can be because they like the design or their personality.
You must ensure that you make a clean change when you reroll. You should verify locally to see if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. The patch should be uploaded with a clear distinction to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. During this time, it is recommended to avoid enemy camps that are optional to avoid wasting time. Additionally, you should avoid re-doing any quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it's essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance and strength. This includes upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and buying upgrades. It is also crucial to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling might not be an absolute requirement however it can be a way to increase your chances of getting the right character or weapon. You can use it to determine which character is the best or to play around with different playstyles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection and difference.
When you upgrade a set item, it is an entirely new version that is superior to the previous version. For weapons and armor this means that it gets an increased base defense value, an lower strength requirement, and an lower requirement for level.
Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets up to the same level as those in higher-tier sets. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense by 217 up to 321 and decrease the strength requirements and requirements for level to an acceptable range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't require upgrading. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are often used, could be benefited by an upgrade to improve their value. For these kinds of items, it could be worth the extra expense to upp them.
